Since opening in 2015 we have always tried to engage with the local community regardless of their religious background. We were aware that many people in the community would have grown up visiting the church building, which had now been converted into a mosque. So we consciously opened up our doors and welcomed them into the building to see the renovations that had taken place. We deliberately held this event during Ramadan so that the whole community could sit down and have a meal together at sunset. The events have been very successful and very well received by all members of the community. We continued this each year until 2019. Unfortunately, our 2020 Interfaith Event had to be canceled due to the pandemic.

We held another successful Interfaith Event in 2023 inpartnership with Crescent Food Bank, who highlightedthe great work they have been doing in the communityand the hidden need that exists in the local area.In 2024, we partnered with Tour de Mission Kids, whoshowcased fabulous cycling event for kids that raisedover £26k for the victims of the 2023 earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
